My dear friend,.   I have seen it happen many times in my life,.   and the result is always the same.    Many people who are very actively serving the Lord suddenly come down with a very serious illness.   They start going to the doctor and giving him or her their undivided attention.   Then they start scheduling all of these surgeries and procedures to be done on them.   They then give the doctors all of their food,.   transportation,.   and expense money for co-pays on all of these doctor and hospital bills,.   surgeries,.  prescriptions,   and procedures.    Do they stop there?    No!    They then start calling church members,.   and begin the process of cancelling out church attendance,.   Bible study,.   prayer meetings,.  choir practice,.   church retreats,.  special church projects and functions,.   and volunteer work in the church,.   and in their local community.    It is very sad,.   and it is very disturbing;.   to see believers take their eyes off of Jesus.    Do they not understand the Gospel message?    Do they not trust in Him completely?    Do they not know that He loves them more than they can ever imagine;.   and that He will never ever leave nor forsake them.    Once they turn away from the Lord,.   many of them never return.    For you see,.   they now trust in man,.   more than they trust in Almighty God.   They have shifted priorities in their life.    And now their lives are indeed in peril.   Their faith in God has been weakened considerably.    And now,   when things go from bad to worse;.   they don’t really know what to do,.   or who to turn to.    KEEP. YOUR.  EYES.  FIXED.  UPON.  JESUS!!!     Don’t ever take your eyes off of Him.    Trust in Him completely.    He will get you through every difficult situation.    He will lead you and guide you,.   sustain you,.   and comfort you;.   as you look toward Him,.   and go to Him often in prayer.    Life’s challenges can be very difficult,.   and sometimes totally overwhelming.    But when we keep our focus on Jesus,.   and do everything that we can to honor and serve Him,   and to glorify His mighty name in front of others;.   He will guide us safely through every valley and every tunnel in life;.   bring us out of the darkness and into the light;.   and fill our hearts to overflowing with His love,.  grace, and mercy.    Place your faith in Him today.    And let Him take you on a spiritual journey that you will never forget.   God bless!
